Bookfair

There will be a Bookfair, between 12.00 and 4.00, on Monday 30th May, part of the #leominsterfestival, held in the beautifully renovated and historic Grange Court, (dating back to 1663). Entry is free, come and meet local authors, read their books, treat yourself to homemade cakes and ice cream in the cafe. There is still time to book into one of the Writing Workshops, non-fiction and fiction.

The Festival is also organising a Fun Day on the Grange itself with events the whole family can enjoy. See http://www.leominster-festival.co.uk for full details. A day out to remember

Book Fair at Leominster Festival

What a day for writers! The Book Fair was held in the wonderful Grange Court which, besides being an historic venue, boasts a caf√© with homemade cakes to feed the hungry exhibitors. So many writers, so many books, poetry, children’s, fantasy, novels, short story collections; the choice was varied, a book for everyone. The sun shone for visitors and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to those who attended my workshop on short story writing – we had great fun! I shall expect short stories produced from all those who attended – we created some inspirational ideas for plot and characters. Thanks particularly to Peter Ellis, who organised the Fair and to his wife, Alison, for her work behind the book stall and everyone else who put in so much hard work to make the day a success
